Privacy policy
Effective October 26, 2026
Waleroy has no server and no account. We can't see your ledgers, and this page explains why.
What you enter and where it's stored
Entries, accounts, cards, budgets, goals, receipt photos and notes are stored on your iPhone. If iCloud is on, they sync through your own iCloud account using Apple's CloudKit. The developer has no copy and no way to read them.
Widgets and the Apple Watch app read a small summary from a shared container on your own devices.
Sharing
When you share a ledger, it's shared through iCloud only with the people you invite. You choose "can add and edit" or "can only read", and you can stop sharing at any time.
No analytics, ads or tracking
Waleroy contains no analytics, advertising, crash-reporting or other third-party code. It doesn't track you across apps or websites. Our App Store privacy label is "Data Not Collected".
If you opt in to sharing with app developers in iOS settings, Apple may send us anonymous crash reports. These don't contain your ledgers.
The one network request
Once a day Waleroy downloads public exchange rates from the Central Bank of the Republic of Türkiye (tcmb.gov.tr). The request carries no information about you or your data.
Receipts, Siri and Face ID
Receipt text is read on the device. Siri and Shortcuts requests are handled by Apple. Face ID is checked by iOS; Waleroy never sees your face data.
Purchases
Pro is sold through the App Store. Apple handles payment; we only learn whether Pro is active on your Apple ID.
Deleting your data
Use Settings › Delete all data in the app. This also clears Waleroy's data from your iCloud. You can also delete the app and remove its data in iOS Settings › your name › iCloud.
Children
Waleroy isn't directed at children and doesn't knowingly collect anything from anyone.
Changes and contact
If this policy changes, the new version will be posted here with a new date. Questions: hello@waleroy.com.
